Terrell is an unincorporated crossroads community on the northwest shore of Lake Norman in southeastern Catawba County, bordered by Sherrills Ford to the north, Denver to the southwest, and Mooresville across the water to the east. It's one of the lake's quieter, larger-lot markets - waterfront subdivisions along Kiser Island Road, including Riverwood, The Vineyards at Kiser Island, Avalon Point, and Somerset on Lake Norman, carry some of the most generous lot sizes and least-crowded shoreline on the west side of the lake.

Soil here is consistent piedmont red clay that excavates predictably, and lots run larger than the east-shore peninsulas around Mooresville and Cornelius, which gives us more room for staging, crane placement, and freeform shoreline pool shapes without the tight-lot choreography those markets require.

Terrell's crossroads center, near the intersection of NC-150 and Sherrills Ford Road, is a National Register historic district anchored by the 1889 Rehobeth Methodist Church - we design and stage carefully around that area, though the large majority of our Terrell builds are on waterfront lots well outside it.
